White-water Rafting Instructor.

Wedge Rafting Ltd in Whistler BC is looking for White-water Rafting Instructors for the 2012 season. Applicants must be able to lead groups and individuals while enforcing safety rules and regulations. Applicants must have 3-5 years experience instructing white-water rafting and must present a river log to verify experience. For safety reasons, knowledge and experience on the Green River, Elaho-Squamish Rivers and Cheakamus River is preferred. Due to the dangerous and extreme nature of white-water rafting on our rivers, candidates must have the following: 3-5 years experience as a White-water Rafting Instructor Swift-water Rescue Certification BC River Outfitters Association Guiding License or an equivalent for White-water Rafting Be an experienced and capable white-water Kayaker Must be able to assess river conditions and lead tours Must have current first aid certification This a fulltime seasonal role and the compensation is $17.50 hourly.
