BC River Outfitters Association c/o 1630 Island Highway, Campbell River, BC, Canada, V9W 2E5
Fast Fact
While the United States was opened up by covered wagon, Canada, and B.C. in particular, was opened up by river. Big rivers like the Columbia and Fraser and small ones like the Kicking Horse and Nimpkish were the highways for First Nations people, European explorers and traders and later loggers and miners. Almost every river has a historic story to tell.
